Drop-In Conformation classes
start on Wednesday, January 14th - following obedience at 8pm |

The Valparaiso Kennel Club offers
conformation classes each Wednesday evening at 8pm from
September through May at the P.E.T.S. Training facility at 750
Rigg Rd. in Valparaiso.
Class begins at 8 pm
and continues for one hour. Price of the class is $5.00
per session on a drop-in basis.
The class is taught
by our club members on a rotating schedule. This affords
the dogs the exposure to both men and women as judges and each
instructor adds their own touch to the ring procedure.
Dogs must be up to
date on all vaccinations. Occasionally items such as
collars and leads are available for purchase.
The P.E.T.S.
training facility is located at 750 Rigg Rd. Rigg Rd. is off of
Rt 2 about 1 mile east of the intersection of Rt 2 and Rt. 49.
Go south on Rigg Rd. to the first drive on the right (west) side
of the road. Classes will be held in the big white pole
barn.

The Valparaiso
Kennel Club promotes responsible pet ownership through their
ongoing obedience classes.
Classes are offered
at the P.E.T.S. training facility at 750 Rigg Rd. Rigg Rd. is
off of Rt 2 about 1 mile east of the intersection of Rt 2 and
Rt. 49. Go south on Rigg Rd. to the first drive on the right
(west) side of the road. Classes will be held in the big white
pole barn.
Beginning obedience
is a 9 week course based on the
AKC's Canine Good Citizen
program. Classes run from September through May on Wednesday
evenings at 7pm.
Drop-ins are welcome
to our Beginning Obedience Classes starting the third week of
the course. Drop -ins are for handlers and dogs who have
already completed an obedience course and would like some
practice.
All dogs must be up
to date on vaccinations.
Many of our club
members participate in various other Performance events such as
Agility, Herding, Field Trials and Water Trials. They would be
